Some Families, All Families is a new illustrated children's book in the Scoochie & Skiddles Inclusive Kids' Books Collection. The book is a celebration of all diverse families with a goal to create greater representation and visibility for many different types of families. The story uses simple language that could describe any family, complimented by vivid illustrations of a variety of unique family structures. It is an easy-to-read story with captivating illustrations designed to effectively engage the book's target audience - kids between the ages of 2-6. My goal is to tell a story that normalizes differences and honors a unique family type on every single page.
