As a new parent, I desperately searched for inclusive books to help my girls not only see themselves in the pages of books they were reading, but to also have broad awareness of different races, cultures and families. I wish someone had curated a list of books that I could have easily searched and shared with them. Now that my girls are starting to get older, I decided to create that list for you. The lists below represent some of the books in our family's personal library plus others that I have come to learn about. Being on the list does not represent an endorsement of any sort. As a parent, educator or reader, you should decide for yourself if a book meets a need you have.
